BIO

David has worked in theatre, film, and music as an actor, director, and writer. During the mid-seventies he trained and was a contract performer with the Actor’s Workshop in Vancouver. Moving to Victoria in 1980, he established, owned and operated the Screen Actor’s Studio in Victoria B.C. 1985 – 2015. He is a founding member of both CineVic, the Society for Independent Filmmakers and the Victoria Film Festival. Serving as a board member of both. As a writer, he became interested in our own colorful local history. Researching and creating screenplays of Amor de Cosmos and Alma Rattenbury. He is an award winning lyricist. Author of two books. ‘The Teleporter’s Handbook’, a book of modern fables and tall tales. His latest book,  ‘Picasso On A Napkin. is a collection of lyric poems, songs, raps and chants. David currently works as free-lance writer, seeking to collaborate and develop production of  stage and screenplays, stories and musical projects .
